silver nitrate / potassium nitrate etching pen, L 115mm These etching pens are suited for the removal of granulation tissue associated with wound healing (caro luxurians), e.g. after the placement of transcutaneal catheters, PEGs etc. Only with doctor`s advise, they may also be used > for the treatment of certain warts; > for the removal of small leftovers of the umbilical cord with newborn babies; or > for hemostasis with small, superficials wounds How to use Follow your doctors` advise and the instructions for use. Wetten the head of the pen with a few drops of tap water and carefully swap the relevant area of the wound. Let it react. The treated areas will turn black soon, and over a couple of days will be separate from the surrounding non-granulating tissue. Following doctors` advise, multiple treatment may be necessary. Content The head of an etching pen contains 50% silver nitrate and 50% potassium nitrate. One pack contains 10 elastic etching pens, single-packaged.
