Non-selective growth media for the isolation and cultivation of strictly anaerobic bacteria. CDC anaerobics agar with 5% sheep blood is appropriate for the isolation and cultivation of difficult to grow, obligatory anaerobic bacteria from clinical isolates and non-clinical ssamples, as well.
