Lateral flow test for the qualitative detection of luteinizing hormon (LH) from human urine samples. For professional use, only, to support estimation of ovulation timeframe. Ovulation is the release of a maternal oozyte from the ovaries (salpinx). Entering the Fallopian tubes the oozyte may be fertilized within about 24 hours after the ovulation. Ovulation is faciliated by LH secretion from the pituitary gland (hypophysis) increasing shortly prior to ovulation, and in the middle of the female menstruation cycle. The increase in LH is easily detectable via its concentration in urine indication ovulation within the next 24 - 36 hours.
