The Twist-Lock Combirack offers a space-saving, convenient way to house multiple sample sizes from 0.5ml to 50ml tubes and also accommodates PCR tube strips and PCR plates. It comes as a set of four brightly coloured, 4-sided racks, which can twist and lock together in any arrangement to suit the user. Each rack can hold different size sized tubes on each side and can be mixed in different combinations with the other racks to provide a workstation suitable for many applications. The racks have a rugged polypropylene construction that can be autoclaved at up to 121C and are suitable for use in low temperature applications (-80C). Each rack measures 108mm in length, 108mm in width and 69mm in height. The small footprint of the Twist-Lock Combirack makes it convenient on the bench, under the hood and in a wide range of other applications. It has been designed especially for the convenient storage of up to 2 x 50ml centrifuge tubes (maximum diameter 30mm), 8 x 15ml centrifuge tubes (maximum diameter 18mm), 12 x 1.5ml to 2.0ml microcentrifuge tubes (maximum diameter 11mm), or 6 x 0.5ml microcentrifuge tubes (maximum diameter 8mm). Unskirted or semi-skirted 96-well PCR Plates can fit across 2 racks. The racks will also hold 6 x 8-tube PCR strips, 12-tube PCR strips (8strips fit across 2 racks) and 48 x 0.2ml PCR tubes.
