Effective asthma & COPD management requires regular measurement and documentation of peak flow. This leads to an increased quality of life for patients and reduces the number of respiratory emergencies. The use of medication is limited to what is necessary.
The Vitalograph Peak Flow Meter asma-1 is ahighly developed asthma monitor that significantly simplifies progess monitoring. The device measures and stores PEF and FEV1, allowing precise conclusions to be drawn about the (obstruction) status of the airways. Individually adjustable PEF/FEV1 zones also enable patient-related asthma plans.
When using safety mouthpieces or bacterial virus filters (BVF), this peak flow meter is also suitable for training purposes with several patients (e.g. in hospital, rehabilitation clinic or in the doctors office) without the risk of corss-infection. For this we also have adapter.
