From Alpha Laboratories, these 1000 µL sterile blue bevelled rack tips are ideal for accurately pipetting larger sample volumes. The tips are 76mm long and are manufactured from high quality, non-cytotoxic, medical grade, radiation stabilized virgin polypropylene. The resin is pre-tested to determine if there are any extractables that interfere with PCR or DNA. Resins with a high level of extractables in the range of 240 nm to 320 nm are excluded from production. Fine beveled dispensing end fits 0.65mL microcentrifuge tubes. A beveled end retains less liquid and is a good choice for a variety of procedures. Each batch of tips is tested and certified RNase, DNase, DNA and endotoxin/pyrogen free. If the product is labeled sterile, sterilization is by gamma irradiation. The sterilization process follows ISO 11137 procedures for sterility. Tips can also be autoclaved at 122°C for 20 minutes at 15psi. The 1000 µl bevelled, sterile rack tips have a universal fit, are compatible with a wide range of popular pipette brands and are supplied in quantities of 1000.
