The Euronda Aquafilter 1 to 1 easily produces demineralized water (aqua dem) for sterilization in the autoclave. It is connected to the mains water connection and the autoclave. Inserted between the water supply and the autoclave, the Aquafilter 1 to 1 automatically supplies demineralized feed water for the safe sterilization of your medical devices. The quality of the treated water complies with the EN 13060 standard for the operation of small sterilizers.
No separate power connection is required for the Aquafilter 1 to 1. The filter simply obtains the energy it needs from the connected Euronda autoclave. The filter is also ideally prepared for easy wall mounting. Alternatively, it can be used free-standing - without any assembly effort. For optimal sterilization results, an LED signals the quality of the water produced.
Blue LED: everything ok, blue LED flashing: water supply, red LED: change cartridges, water quality has exceeded the conductivity limit.
How the water filter works
Ion exchange principle: Mixed bed resins in the water filter exchange contaminating ions (e.g. calcium Ca2+, magnesium Mg2+, etc.) for hydrogen (H+) and hydroxide ions (OH-). This is important for reprocessing, as the exchanged ions behave neutrally towards the sterile items and the sterilization device. For various laboratory devices, demineralized water prevents calcification and reduces the risk of contamination. The manufacturer's requirements must be carefully observed in order not to jeopardize guarantee or warranty claims.
Standard-compliant water treatment with the aqua filter simplifies sterilization, extends the lifespan of autoclaves and protects the sterile goods. The size of the water filter or treatment system must be adapted to requirements - there are several versions so that several devices can be supplied at the same time. We are happy to advise you.
