Sandwich silicone elastomer
Catheters made of silicone elastomer combine the material advantages of flexible latex (in the core) and low-allergen silicone (outer and inner surface). This results in a longer dwell time than with pure latex catheters: silicone elastomer catheters can be used for up to 14 days.
