These 96 U-well Microtitre Plates from Alpha Laboratories are manufactured from uncoated, transparent, UV-transmissible polystyrene. The static-free microplates incorporate a moulded alphanumeric index with row and column identifiers. Cut-away corners are situated at positions H1 and H2 of the microplate for easy orientation. The microplates have a length of 128mm and a width of 86mm. They feature raised well rims to prevent cross contamination. Samples can be protected further with the use of the polystyrene lid (Catalogue No. FX9031) which has a raised rim for convenient stacking of the microplates. The 300µl capacity, round bottom wells improve washing efficiency and the absence of sharp corners makes them ideal for agglutination tests. The 96 U-well Microtitre Plates are supplied non sterile in 10 packs of 10. Alpha Laboratories also supply V-Well (conical bottom) and F-Well (flat bottom) Microtitre Plates to suit various applications.
