This blotting insert can be purchased as an optional addition to the Clarit-E Mini Vertical gel tank allowing both PAGE and blotting to be carried out in the same electrophoresis tank. Units are interchangeable with Clarit-E slab and tube gel inserts. Transfer up to four 10x10cm gels overnight with low intensity. Platinum wire electrodes 8cm apart generate a powerful electric field for efficient transfer. Open design, rigid cassettes maximise current transfer and eliminate shadow band formation; colour coded to ensure proper orientation within the blotting system.
